Announcement of Trading on the American Stock Exchange

Advanced Battery Technologies, Inc. (OTCBB: ABAT) announced that its
common shares had been approved for listing on the American Stock
Exchange ("AMEX"). As an addendum to that announcement the Company
further advises shareholders and other market participants that its
shares are expected to commence trading on the American Stock
Exchange on Tuesday, October 9, 2007. The new trading symbol will be
GBT.
The listing approval is contingent upon Advanced Battery
Technologies being in compliance with all applicable listing
standards on the date it begins trading on the Exchange, and may be
rescinded if Advanced Battery Technologies is not in compliance with
such standards.
Mr Zhiguo Fu, Chairman and CEO of Advanced Battery Technologies,
stated: "Management wishes to express its appreciation for the
strong support from its shareholders, and to point out that listing
on the Exchange is an important and exciting event in the
development of our Company."
